Matt and Rochelle set up Arc Potential to build a recruitment business with a clearer understanding of senior electrical hiring.

Between them, they bring experience from both sides of the process - recruitment delivery and electrical project environments. That leads to a better understanding of the role, the brief and what a strong hire needs to look like.

Rochelle Higham


Rochelle has 12 years of recruitment experience across the UK and New Zealand markets, covering temporary, contract and permanent hiring. Her background includes work across a wide range of sectors, along with experience recruiting for senior, technical and leadership roles.

She brings a strong understanding of recruitment delivery, client expectations and the importance of running a process well. She is known for clear communication, professionalism and treating people with respect, alongside a level of candidate and client care that makes the experience feel personal without losing standards.

Her approach is friendly and personable, but always focused on getting the process right

Matthew Nelson


Matt has 21 years of experience in the electrical industry, with leadership experience across commissioning, site and project management on large-scale electrical projects. His background includes major commercial builds and data centres, where he has worked closely with the demands, standards and pressures attached to complex delivery environments.

He has managed sites with work forces of more than 100 staff and has been directly involved in hiring decisions, workforce planning and engagement from the client side. That gives him a clear understanding of what businesses need from both a workforce and a recruitment partner.

That experience brings a more informed view of the roles Arc Potential supports, particularly where technical understanding, responsibility and delivery all matter.
