Candidate Referral Scheme Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility
1.1. The Arc Potential Candidate Referral Scheme is open to individuals aged 18 or over.
1.2. The referred candidate must not already be registered with Arc Potential, have applied for a vacancy through Arc Potential, or be involved in an active recruitment process with us at the time of referral.
1.3. Referrals must be genuine introductions. Referrals arranged solely to obtain or share a reward, including self-referrals made through another person, are not eligible.
1.4. The referrer must have the candidate's permission to share their personal information with Arc Potential.
1.5. A referral is not automatically accepted upon submission. Arc Potential will review referrals against its existing records and confirm eligibility.
2. Referral Process
2.1. Referrals must be submitted using the referral form on the Arc Potential website.
2.2. The referral must be received and accepted before the referred candidate applies for a vacancy or enters into recruitment discussions with Arc Potential.
2.3. If the same candidate is referred by more than one person, only the first eligible referral received and accepted by Arc Potential will qualify.
2.4. There is no limit to the number of candidates an individual may refer. Each referral will be assessed separately.
3. Qualifying Placements
3.1. A referral will qualify for a £250 reward where the referred candidate:
Is accepted as an eligible referral by Arc Potential.
Secures a permanent position through Arc Potential within 12 months of the accepted referral date.
Commences employment with the recruiting employer.
Completes three consecutive months of employment in that position.
3.2. Temporary, contract and interim placements are excluded from this scheme unless otherwise agreed in writing by Arc Potential.
3.3. A reward is payable only where Arc Potential has received the full recruitment fee associated with the successful placement.
3.4. If the candidate leaves their employment before completing three months, no referral reward will be payable.
4. Referral Reward and Payment
4.1. The referral reward is £250 for each qualifying placement.
4.2. Rewards will be paid by bank transfer or another payment method agreed by Arc Potential.
4.3. Payment will be arranged within 30 days of all qualifying conditions being met.
4.4. The referrer is responsible for any personal tax liabilities arising from receipt of the reward.
4.5. Referral rewards are non-transferable and cannot be claimed by the referred candidate.
5. Exclusions
5.1. Referrals made retrospectively after a candidate has applied, registered or entered discussions with Arc Potential will not qualify.
5.2. Referrals involving false, misleading or inaccurate information may be rejected.
5.3. Employees and directors of Arc Potential, and anyone directly involved in the recruitment or hiring decision for the relevant placement, are not eligible for a referral reward.
5.4. Arc Potential reserves the right to reject a referral where payment would create a conflict of interest or breach applicable law or contractual obligations.
6. Data Protection and Confidentiality
6.1. Referrers must obtain the candidate's permission before submitting their personal details or CV.
6.2. Personal information submitted through the referral scheme will be processed in accordance with Arc Potential's Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
6.3. Submission of a referral does not guarantee that the candidate will be contacted, offered an interview or placed into employment.
6.4. Arc Potential will not disclose confidential recruitment information or the referred candidate's personal circumstances to the referrer without appropriate permission.
7. General Conditions
7.1. Arc Potential reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the referral scheme at any time. Changes will not retrospectively affect referrals already accepted under the scheme, unless required by law.
7.2. Arc Potential may request reasonable information to verify a referral's eligibility before making payment.
7.3. A referral reward is payable only when all qualifying conditions have been satisfied.
7.4. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
